Big changes

We'll be saying good-bye soon...

to our home...

and church,

 as we move from Connecticut to southwestern Michigan where Jonathan has accepted a call to be pastor.  Jonathan's last Sunday is in a few short days, and we'll be moving in a couple of weeks.

Memorial Day

We had a busy Memorial Day.  First, we marched in the parade with the group from church.  The dinosaur was made by the camp kids last summer.  He got a lot of comments.

Next, we rode the Essex steam train and riverboat.  It got a little long for the boys, but they still thought it was cool.

We went out for seafood by the shore after the train and boat ride.  I wanted to have one more lobster roll before we leave New England.

Haircuts

We went to get haircuts yesterday.  Somehow the phrase, "a little shorter," got lost in translation.  I did not intend for the boys to get their hair buzzed!  It was too late by the time I realized what was going on.  Oh well, at least it's almost summer; it can grow back.  And, an added bonus is no hair-combing!
