Our little boy of mischief--Paul emptied the contents of this shelf, and climbed right in the other day.

"When will Daddy be home?"

"It was worth the wait!"

A week or so ago, it was time to make supper, so we came in from playing outside. Benjamin wanted to know when Dad would be home. I told him he should be home any minute. Benjamin proceeded to wait by the door as I made supper, and then started feeding Paul and eating my own supper, since Jonathan wasn't home yet. I told Benjamin he didn't have to wait, he could eat with us, and Daddy would just eat when he got home. But, no, the boy stood by the door for 45 minutes to wait, because he wanted to eat supper with Dad! Now, that's love!
