All tuckered out

First T-ball Game

Benjamin had his first T-ball game on Saturday.  Jonathan is the head coach for his team, the Tin Caps. The game was quite comical.  The kids looked cute out there, but it didn't really resemble an actual ball game too much.  They play for an hour, and each player gets an at bat each inning.  So, everyone hits, runs the bases, and no one gets out.  Hard for me to get fired up in a situation like that, but I managed okay!  =)  Looking forward to years and years of this!  =)

Getting his game face on.

First at bat--slams it into the outfield.  That's Jonathan at first base.

Florida Vacation

We spent a week in Florida over Benjamin's spring break.  It was sunny and about 90 degrees almost everyday.  We spent a lot of time at the pool--both at Grandma and Grandpa's complex and Aunt Mary and Uncle Ken's.

We visited Jonathan's cousin's house, which Benjamin and Paul thought was very cool.  They have three kids who they had fun playing with.  They have a pool and a basketball court in their backyard.

We sang "Happy Birthday" and had cake for Grandma's birthday a little early.

Florida Golf and Gulf

Enjoying Grandma and Grandpa's putting green

Golfing on a REAL golf course!  This was what the boys were most excited about our trip to Florida.  I was told they both did quite well.

We made it to the beach to swim once.  The waves were a pretty good size, which is very rare for the Gulf coast.  Benjamin loved jumping the waves, and getting knocked over by them.  Jonathan got in some body surfing.  Paul was intimidated by the waves, but eventually did get wet.

Happy Easter!

After Easter breakfast and church

You can see another missing tooth up top.  He's since lost the other front tooth--Benjamin is looking like a hockey player these days!

Paul searching for eggs on Saturday at our church Easter egg hunt.  He only found three; he was more interested in playing on the playground.  Benjamin got enough for both of them, and won one of the prize baskets, as well!

Jonathan before the egg hunt.

Last Sunday we went to a "bunny blast" they had here for the community.  Benjamin got his face painted.  Paul got half his face painted, when he decided he was done.  Both boys loved the bounce houses they had set up.  That's what they did most of the time.  We didn't even touch the craft table!
