Thanks for the package, Grandma and Grandpa! Mom was excited about the clothes, but I thought the box was pretty neat! Who wants to wear clothes, anyway?!

Okay, Dad and Aunt Mary, I think I know how to open my mouth by now! This shot was taken at Aunt Mary and Uncle Ken's house, when we stopped there after the pastor's conference in New Jersey. Benjamin had a great time at the pastor's conference--he loved splashing in the indoor pool, and loved all of the attention from everyone. He is definitely a people person, and loves to be where the action is!

Happy Halloween!

I don't know, Dad. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need your help lifting this!

Dad carved a "Christian" jack-o-latern for his children's sermon. Stars for eyes, a cross for a nose, and a fish for the mouth.

You mean I'm too little to go trick-or-treating? I think I'm going to cry!

Okay, enough of the photo shoot! I've got places to go!

Fun pictures

This must be my lucky day! Mom let me play with a wire whisk and a measuring cup! She's been holding out on me. I don't know where she's been hiding these toys all of this time!

I'm ready! Throw that bale of hay at me!

I think they're trying to poison me! Mom's squash tastes nothing like the stuff from the jar!

I love drinking water from a cup. I usually need a little help from Mom, though--I haven't gotten that tipping thing down yet.

How can you resist this cuteness?!

How much fun is this?!

Trip to Toledo

Happy 90th birthday, Great Grandma! We flew to Toledo, Ohio recently to celebrate. I was shown off to a lot of relatives and friends. Everyone loved me, of course! Here I am at the birthday dinner. There were so many interesting things on the table, but everyone moved them out of my way when I sat down. At least they let me play with the napkin!

Aaaa! This is the life! Don't I look huge?!

And here I am walking with Uncle David. Okay, not really, but it sure does look that way, doesn't it?

Really Great-Grandma? That is so interesting! Do I have some stories I could tell you!

Just getting a head start on my musical instruments. Maybe I'll be a trumpet player like Uncle Jonathan!

We went to the Toledo Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa. The animals didn't hold my attention like the fish at the aquarium, but I had a great time since I got to be outside on such a nice day!

Hanging out

I'm 7 months old now, and can sit up pretty well all by myself. It's so much more exciting than just laying on my back or trying to crawl, but getting nowhere.

Mom and Dad think all of my squirming is causing me to slim down a bit. Don't worry, though, I still have cute elbow dimples and some chubbiness on my legs!

This is a shot of Momma wiggling her toes--it's hilarious! Of course, maybe you have to be here to see it.

Trying so hard to crawl!

Desperate times call for desperate measures. I root for two teams--the Cardinals and anybody that can keep 1908 a significant year for all Cubs fans. Too bad it didn't work out--now I need an Arizona jersey!

Ooo! What's this? Something fun to pull on! So much more interesting than all of these "toys" they are always trying to give me!

Hmmmm...okay I see how it works...the daddy should do the dishes.

More trying to crawl...

Wow! This is so much fun! I could have stayed in here all evening playing!
