Stroller ride, Grandma visits, and CARDINALS!

Here I am listening to my lamb who sings "Jesus Loves Me." Don't I look like I'm carrying on a conversation with it?

Can you say "Albert Pujols?" How about "So Taguchi?"

Don't worry, Jacob, as soon as I can hold on to things, Mom will start putting that baseball in my left hand!

Here I am hanging out with Grandma!

Here I am on my first stroller ride. It actually got warm enough to venture outside. You'd think it was the dead of winter, the way they bundled me up, but it was 50ยบ! I slept the whole time, depsite the bumpy ride!

I'm learning to pray early! Look closely and you can see my hands folded.

Hmmm...how did I end up in this position? I've already rolled over several times from my stomach to my back. Mom and Dad are very impressed with my skills!

I already miss Grandma and Grandpa! They were so much fun--they spoiled my rotten while they were here.

Here I am sleeping peacefully in my cradle that my grandpa made for my dad.

2 weeks old!

Benjamin had his 2-week check-up today, and he's doing great! He now weighs 7 lbs, 6 oz, so he's almost back up to his birth weight. Most of his 0-3 month clothes fit him pretty well length-wise, but he doesn't fill them out yet.

We recently discovered how well swaddling works for sleeping. For the past several nights, he's been sleeping in 4-hour chunks as long as he's swaddled tightly.

Look at how strong I am, guys! I love to squirm around and use my neck muscles!

I went to church for the first time on Sunday. Here's what I wore--thanks Great-Grandma! I felt like a super-star at church--everyone wanted to see me. Besides a little peep at the beginning of the service, I slept in Mommy's arms the whole time.

I'm having a great time hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa! They're visiting from Iowa for the week.

It's never too early to learn how to play euchre!

Benjamin James was born on February 27 at 5:42 p.m. He weighed 7 lb, 8 oz, and was 21 inches long. No wonder Mom constantly got kicked in the ribs!

We're all a little tuckered out, but doing great! What a cutie!
