Paul's tooth

Paul lost his first tooth last Tuesday.  It was very loose for several days.  He finally allowed me a chance to pull it out, after I said he might swallow it in his sleep.  It came out with no problem and very little blood, to his relief!  As you can see, the adult tooth was already though the gums.  The tooth fairy left him 2 dollar coins.

Benjamin's birthday

Benjamin is now 8 years old!  He requested a dinosaur birthday cake--thankfully we have some little dinos that I could put on the cake!

After school, he invited a friend over to play for the afternoon/evening.

Opening presents

Filling his new baseball binder with cards.

Another birthday gift--shrinky dinks.

Benny also wanted to go ice skating.  We invited friends from church to go with us on that Sunday after church.

School Projects

The snowman was Benny's 100th Day creation.  They had to use 100 of something to make something.  There are 100 cotton balls on the snowman.

The latest school project is for the social studies fair.  They were given a mode of transportation, and had to make a model are write about it.  Benjamin chose a ship, and wanted to make a model of the Titanic.

Snow Fun

Jonathan's motto:  It's never too cold to grill!

Here are the boys showing you how big the drift behind the house was.

Driving trucks in the snow.  Here's Benjamin on top of one of our bushes.

President's Day weekend

The boys had a 3-day weekend, so the three of us drove to Iowa for a visit with Grandma and Grandpa, and James and Michael who were also visiting.  The boys had a great time playing together and getting spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa.  In this picture, Benjamin was reading.  Michael was very surprised that Benjamin could actually read the right words to the book!
