Opening presents

Wrapping paper, gift bags, boxes, ribbons, and bows...what more could a boy ask for?

And, I'm done! Enough is enough!

Merry Christmas!

Decorating the tree

Hmmm...it looks like you could use my help, Dad.

I'll work on untangling these lights for you.

All ready to hang on the tree! Although, maybe we should reconsider--this is pretty fun!

Look at all the goodies in this box!

Well, I guess that looks nice, but what's the point? Wouldn't it be better to chew on?

Ah-ha! I got one off the tree!

So far, Benjamin has pretty well left the tree alone. He doesn't like the prickly needles. Every once in awhile he'll go pull an ornamnet off the tree, but that's been about it.

Snow Much Fun!

Last week we got about 8 inches of snow. Benjamin loved the chance to get outside. As you can tell by his expression, he's not real fond of the snowsuit. But, he liked being pulled around in the sled, and he liked eating the snow.

SNOW! And Christmas trees!

Here I am out for my first sled ride. Don't worry, I wasn't out without mittens for long. We just had to test out the sled before we went to the tree farm. There was barely enough snow, but Mom and Dad seemed very eager to take me out in it! I loved the sled, by the way!

Hmmm...so many trees to choose from.

How about this one this one, guys? It's just my size!

Dad's cutting down this tree, so I guess they didn't pick my little one!

So far, Benjamin hasn't touched the tree set up in the living room. We'll see what happens once it's decorated. It's prickly, so we're hoping he leaves it alone.

Thanksgiving (or Christmas?)

Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Rachel came to visit me for Thanksgiving. They loved playing with me! Of course, there was a lot of action, so it was hard for me to get any good naps, so I was a bit fussy at times. I couldn't miss out on anything, you know!

This one is for you, Uncle David. Here I am in my "80's clothes." Note the one strap undone. Actually, Mom thinks I look a lot like Grandpa here. Flannel never goes out of style!

Grandma and Grandpa got us this trunk for Christmas. It works better in our living room than the barn wood table did. I was always bumping my head on that, and Mom thought I was going to get slivers from the barn wood.

Unwrapping my first Christmas present. I wasn't in a very good mood here. It didn't help that Mom let me have the paper, and than would grab it from me once I started eating it.

Look at all these presents! Thanks for all of the great boxes and paper (I mean, gifts), Grandma and Grandpa!

Grandpa helping me with my puzzle. We had such a good time together! Mom was amazed at how well we talked to each other--I never talk that much to anyone, not even her or Dad! Grandpa also let me climb all over him, and pull on his hair and nose. Grandpas are so much fun!

It's been awhile!

Sorry it's been so long since the last posting! The website wasn't working, we had company, and then we were sick! =( But enough of the excuses. Benjamin is offically crawling now, and getting into much mischief! Everyday he lets me know I need to move something else higher. Today it was the calendar hanging on the fridge. He is also pulling himself up to standing with anything he can grab. He loves it when we lay on the floor on our side, and he can use us to pull up. Lately he's also been letting go and balancing on his legs for a few seconds.

I LOVE paper in any form! No one lets me near it for long, though, because I eat it.

Pulling books off my shelf is so much fun!

Oooo! DVDs!

Sorry, Mom, the magazine rack will not work here, either. Nice try, moving the exersaucer in the way! It was okay for a short time, but I'm really smarter than that.

My favorite room in the house!
