March

We have started to get some warmer weather this month, but winter still seems to want to hang on.  We had snow flurries yesterday and today.  The boys had a snow day a week or two ago, but most of the snow has melted now.  So, we've been enjoying a mix of indoor and outdoor activities.  Right now we're obsessed with March Madness and basketball--thanks to the family bracket. =)  The boys have been playing basketball with their little indoor hoop, and we've gone to the church parking lot to play over there a few times.

Reading in bed.  Benjamin is really into Magic Tree House books, and they both still love to be read to.  We've been getting into some non-fiction lately, including books about natural disasters and presidents.  I have had to read "So You Want to Be President" about 50 times.  We checked it out at the library twice, and now they like to quiz people on their presidential knowledge.

At the library--reading and playing Legos.

Playing golf--gotta watch out for those snow traps!

Silliness!

Love my brother!

They were very excited to get these matching basketball outfits.  I was excited to find them for $5!

Junior Photographers

Benjamin and Paul like to use my phone to take pictures.  Here are a few shots they took themselves.

Random pictures...

Here's a tent Paul and I made the other day.  Below is a shot Paul took from inside the tent.

A paper Paul brought home from school.  "Paul says, 'Love is kissing.'"  That's Mommy and Paul kissing in the picture.

Valentine's supper--heart-shaped pizza

Saturday fun--indoor mini-golf and go-carts

Benjamin driving his own go-cart.

Benjamin's President's Day paper--Dad would make a good president, because "He's loud and nice."

Paul's 100-day cape.  They had to decorate a cape with 100 things and wear it to school on the 100th day of school.  Benjamin had his 100th day celebration the same day.  He had to fill a bag with 100 things--he brought 100 crayons to school.  He wouldn't let me take his picture with his 100-day glasses because he thought he looked too silly.

Benjamin's birthday

Benjamin requested a football/Green Bay Packers cake.  I ended up making an M&M cookie pizza with a football in chocolate frosting and "Happy Birthday, Benjamin!" in green and yellow.  The boys thought it was very tasty!

We went bowling right after school, since Jonathan had Confirmation that night.

New bike!  He found it after going on a scavenger hunt.  Now just to wait for the snow to melt...

7 years old!

My parents came for the weekend, but I didn't get any shots of them.  This is in their van on the way to Indiana.  Grandma was telling a Phoebe and Daisy story.  Paul had to plug his ears, because it was scary since they were getting in trouble!
