Slip 'n Slide

Benjamin:  "I could do this all day!"

Paul didn't want to try the traditional way to go down, so Mom had to help.  He had more fun playing in the water with buckets and cups.

Preschool Graduation

Benjamin graduated from preschool on Thursday evening.  It was 100 degrees that day, and our church has no air-conditioning, so it was very warm!  But, all went well and it was a nice little service.

Songs

Benjamin thought his cousins might like to listen to him singing.

Father's Day

We had a nice, relaxing Father's Day after a busy week.  We all had naps after church (even Benjamin accidently fell asleep on the couch, but he will deny it).  Then we went for a bike ride and hike.  It was Harry's for supper--our first time this year.  Jonathan's gift was this grill.  He's been deliberating what kind of grill he should get for a year now.  It was the final straw when I bit into a part of the grill grate along with my food last week!

Cardinals vs Mets

Since he can remember, Jonathan has been to a Cardinals' game for every year of his life.  To keep the streak alive, we went to New York City yesterday, so we could watch the Cardinals play.  The rain held off and they won the game, 5-4, so that was exciting.

Paul slept for half of the game.  I understand how you feel, buddy!

Memorial Day

We drove to New Jersey for Memorial Day to see Aunt Mary, Uncle Ken, and Great-Grandma.  This is the last summer they'll be in New Jersey before permanently moving to Florida.  We wanted to see Uncle Ken in the parade for the last time.

Waiting for the parade to start

Uncle Ken--Retired fire chief

Benjamin and Paul got to see the fire station while we were there.  They were very impressed with all of the trucks.
