Who says rainy days are boring?

Getting ready for summer--Benjamin was pretending to be Grandma L., and was jumping into our swimming pool.

Sitting up at 8 months--Paul has gotten pretty steady sitting up by himself. This is his preferred method of playing now. Still no crawling yet, but he gets around by rolling. Two of his top teeth are in now, two more to go. His mood has improved the past few days--thank goodness! We don't have to give him away, and get a baby girl, as Benjamin suggested. =)

Yes, I do sleep occasionally!

Playing dress-up--not sure who he was supposed to be in this get-up.

I'm an excavator driver! Someone gave us this game system. No idea how it works, but Benjamin found it in a bag. He decided the joysticks looked like an excavator.

Benjamin has really been into coloring lately. It's been nice to have something to occupy his attention when he needs to sit quietly, like church or restaurants. It really came out of the blue. When we would go to story time at the library, he would be the first to finish the craft--just a few scribbles and he was done. Last time we were there, he was the last one at the table, and he would have kept coloring, if he could have.

Paul has been enjoying his outside time, too. I'm glad he's pretty content to watch from the stroller.

He can't wait until he can play golf with the big boys, though!

Paul's had a rough few weeks. He's gone from cold to fever to cutting teeth to runny nose, back to cutting teeth. He's got his four top teeth coming in--one has poked through, but the other three are still taking their time. Needless to say, he's been quite crabby lately. Poor guy!

More bath fun

I realized I hadn't posted any videos in awhile. In case you're wondering, Benjamin's reply to my question is, "Not really...yeah...sometimes. Maybe we'll do that tomorrow!"

Bath time!

We tried Paul out in the bath seat a week or so ago. He loved splashing in the water! Benjamin was okay with having his brother in the tub (never know). He even "helped" rinse out Paul's shampoo. He poured an entire cup of water over his head without warning. Paul took it all in stride.

Happy Easter!

Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed! Alleluia!
Baby's first Easter!

Easter dinner--carrots!

We had gorgeous weather this weekend. Perfect for our Easter egg hunt on Saturday. (Sorry, no pictures--forgot the camera.) Benjamin really got into it this year. Paul enjoyed watching from the stroller. We had a delicious Easter breakfast, and a joyous Easter service on Sunday. Benjamin added his two cents during the children's message. Daddy was talking about Good Friday and Jesus dying on the cross. And Benjamin said, "Yeah, to take away our sins." Of course, everyone was impressed. We went over to our daycare director's house for dinner. Benjamin had all of the adults playing baseball. It reminded me of Easters past, when my younger cousin, Jacob, would have all of us playing baseball. =)
