Independence

Ever since we started potty training a few weeks ago, Paul has become very independent.  He wants to dress himself, buckle himself in his car seat, drink out of a regular cup, get in and out of the bathtub by himself, pour his own milk--you get the idea.  While it is wonderful that he wants to do some of these things by himself, it requires a lot of patience--both on his part and mine!  He can get so frustrated, but will refuse any kind of help!  The potty training is going fairly well.  He's in underwear all day now, but still has accidents.  He's does best remembering to go when he's naked from the waist down!  Sometimes I'll remind him to go, but that is usually met with much resistance.  However, if Benjamin happens to be going, Paul will often join him.  I had forgotten how much of a process potty training is, but like I said, it's going pretty well!

If you look closely, you can see that Paul has his sandals on the wrong feet.  But he did it all by himself!
