Father's Day card

Benjamin brought this Father's Day card home from school yesterday.  I thought it was very cute!  He said, "Sorry, Dad, they didn't have red, so I had to make it yellow."  He knows Dad's favorite color!

"I can hug you"  Daddy redeemed the coupon right away!

This was on the inside.  Benjamin wrote..."you play wych (with) me. Love, Benjamin"

Benjamin still has a week and a day of school left.  However, he will only be going 3 more days until we pack, move, etc.  I can't believe how much he has grown and learned in kindergarten.  He can read, write sentences, add, subtract.  He has mixed feelings about the end of the school year.  One day, he's very excited to be done, but the next he's disappointed because he says he likes school and will miss his friends.
We pulled Paul out of preschool at the end of May, since Jonathan wouldn't be going to church anymore after that.  He was so excited, and still gets excited when he asks, and we tell him it's not a school day!  He seemed to like it fine once he was at school, but he was always telling me he didn't want to go because he was scared at school.  I'm hoping that he'll be more comfortable in a more traditional preschool setting where the teachers don't rotate and change so frequently.  He was also intimidated by the classmates who "made bad choices and had to sit in the thinking chair."  Nothing we can do about that--there's always some of those in a classroom! =)
