Fall Activities

We've had a busy fall and start of the school year.  I started working part time as a teacher aide in a young 5's program.  It's at a Lutheran school, but not the same one the boys attend.  It's been a bit of an adjustment to be working again, but I do enjoy the 16 kids I work with, and the head teacher is great.
Jonathan made two trips to Florida this September.  One was to help his parents move, and the second was to attend his dad's retirement service and celebration.  After that, his parents came to our house (and various other places in the Midwest) for several weeks.

Two Grandpas in the corn maze.  My parents have been here two different weekends this fall.  This picture was taken on the boys' field trip to the pumpkin patch.

David came for a weekend visit with Matt and Lily (his friend's children).  They loved being in the country and playing outside!  Here's David and Lily picking raspberries.

While David was visiting, we all went to Toledo to help celebrate Grandma Liebich's 98th birthday!

Here are the kids looking at a pond covered with fallen leaves.

Halloween costumes:  two Marios and a Luigi

And here they are riding go-karts!

Our church's trunk or treat group.  We didn't end up going trick-or-treating anywhere this year because it was cold and rainy, and we knew the boys would get plenty of candy at church!
